One Person's Story Was Propelled Into Their Purpose.

Our mission found life through one person’s story. Our founder, Aspen Luzier, never imagined that walking alongside her loved one battling substance abuse would be the first step towards creating a nonprofit movement.

Your happiness is worth fighting for.

Rebel For A Change is a movement.

It’s a life line. It’s a force.

And we want our voices heard.

We empower individuals who are walking alongside a loved one battling an addiction. Our goal is to help them break the silence and find community through our support network.

the forgotten ones.

When we talk about “addiction”, it is usually within the context of the one struggling from the abuse of a substance.

But what about their family members and friends? What about the ones who have been given the unenviable task of walking alongside the addicted? Those who didn’t ask to be put there, but fight for their loved one anyway?

Who fights for them? They too shoulder the stigma of addiction, and often silently.

This was a story Aspen knew all too well.

Our mission found life through one person’s story. Our founder, Aspen Luzier, never imagined that loving a family member battling substance abuse would be the first step towards creating a

nonprofit movement.

She has a passion for empowering individuals like herself to reach internal peace and happiness by sharing some of the wisdom she gained along the way. During her journey towards fulfillment, she realized that her experiences were not unique to her. She soon saw that there were others who needed to find the same peace that she had been seeking.

Aspen started her mission with a simple conversation.

August 27th, 2017

Aspen turned to a social media platform and shared personal reflections of being on the other side of addiction.

Her voice resonated, transcending commonalities, and piercing the mutual heart of it all: addiction of a loved one. Aspen felt her purpose shift, and realized she could support those like herself to the other side of the proverbial tunnel.

Her desire is to help people rewrite their story, to take control of their

lives, and to realize that it is possible to love someone who is struggling,

without also being dragged into the undertow.

Through this journey,

Rebel For A Change was born.

The Rebel community is actively helping others find the strength and courage to tell their story. We strive to empower others to take back their happiness.
